We are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Manager to oversee our Building Information Modelling processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the BIM team, ensuring the effective implementation of BIM strategies, and facilitating collaboration among various stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various BIM software tools.
DutiesÂ
Lead the development and implementation of BIM standards and protocols.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of BIM across all projects.
Manage the BIM team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and productivity.
Review and approve project schematics, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Utilise software such as Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Sketchup, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and CAD to create detailed models.
Conduct training sessions for team members on best practices in BIM processes.
Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders regarding any challenges or changes.
Ensure that all models are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicated to relevant parties.
SkillsÂ
Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Sketchup, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and CAD.
Strong understanding of architectural schematics and construction processes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Exceptional communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
