Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team in construction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a proven track record in managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires proficiency in various project management methodologies, including Waterfall and SAFe, as well as experience with project management software such as Jira and Confluence. The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising teams, gathering requirements, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Duties
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Supervise project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance productivity.
Utilise project management software to track progress, manage tasks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Gather and document requirements from stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement.
Present project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders regularly.
Facilitate meetings to discuss project status, risks, and issues while providing solutions to overcome challenges.
Requirements
Experience in construction
Proven experience in project management with a strong understanding of methodologies (SAFe).
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Proficiency in using project management software.
Strong skills in requirements gathering and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for effective problem-solving.
Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
